Ashton Kutcher is saying goodbye to his other half.

No, no, not Mila Kunis. Calm down everyone! But Kutcher is parting ways with Jon Cryer, his Two and a Half Men co-star as the CBS hit sitcom’s series finale airs tonight, bringing 12 seasons of bachelor hijinks to an end.

After replacing Charlie Sheen on the series four years ago, Kutcher has developed a strong friendship with Cryer, and took to Facebook to post a sweet message to his on-screen hubby.

“I will miss working with you every day,” he wrote. “You are a true partner in every sense of the word.”

Here is Kutcher’s full message to Cryer:

“Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work. I will miss working with you every day. You are a true partner in every sense of the word. In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity. Your are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to. See you tomorrow night. #twoandahalfmen.”

But will Cryer’s original man, Charlie Sheen, return in the series finale?

In the one-hour event, Alan (Cryer) and Walden (Kutcher) will investigate whether or not Charlie Harper is actually dead, with surprising guest stars popping up along the way.

Sheen has made no secret of his desire to return to the series one last time after his infamous 2011 exit, but CBS president Nina Tassler refused to comment on Charlie Harper’s potential resurrection. Chuck [Lorre] is an extraordinary showrunner. I can promise you there will be a lot of surprises and out of respect from Chuck, and this is a direct quote, he has promised to deliver what he’s calling ‘a mystery sandwich.'”

Two and a Half Men‘s series finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. on CBS.
