Actor Tom Sizemore, Viacom, and Paramount have been hit with a lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court by stuntman Steve De Castro, over a car accident on the set of the upcoming USA Network reboot of Shooter. De Castro, who was hit by a car driven by Sizemore on set, says the actor was intoxicated at the time. Read it here.
The accident is said to have happened July 6 during a location shoot at Agua Dulce Airport. De Castro’s Attorney Lawrence Grassini argues that Sizemore willfully drove under the influence. The extent of De Castro’s injuries have not been fully assessed according to the stuntman, who is suing the three defendants for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and battery.
Shooter debuts in November following a delay after the series was temporarily pulled from USA Network’s schedule.
