Last night Odd Future frontman and controversy magnet Tyler, the Creator was arrested for “suspicion of vandalism” at the band’s show at the Roxy in Los Angeles. The arrest followed an incident in which Tyler allegedly damaged sound equipment. According to TMZ, the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department said authorities were called by Roxy security because Tyler “just destroyed an electric soundboard belonging to the venue.” Police are also quoted in that report saying that the crowd inside rushed into the street toward police, necessitating a call for backup and the closure of Sunset Blvd for 30 minutes as the area was cleared.
Video below, apparently shot by an attendee, appears to show part of Tyler’s tantrum before he is escorted from the stage.
