Taylor Swift had perfected her “surprised” face decades before she became one of the most famous singers in the world.
She posted on her Instagram page on Sunday, the day she celebrated her 26th birthday, a photo of herself as a child, sporting her longtime signature look.
“Today I begin my 26th year of freaking out over stuff,” she wrote.
The singer has mostly showed the “surprised” face onstage at award shows when accepting honors. Swift has won dozens of awards at various music events, including seven Grammys, 25 Teen Choice Awards, 22 Billboard Music Awards 11 CMA Awards and eight ACM Awards.

In her childhood pic, Swift is carrying a backpack and wearing a colorful dress with a picture of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The movie was released in 1989, the year she was born and also the namesake of her new album and world tour, which ended in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday.
On Sunday, Swift announced she plans to release a concert film, The 1989 World Tour Live, on Apple Music on Dec. 20.
Jonas Akerlund directed the film, which shows her concert in Sydney, Australia on Nov. 28. The project also contains rehearsal and backstage footage from other shows, including clips of Swift with her friends and celebrities guests.
The list of famous faces to grace her stages includes Selena Gomez, Mariska Hargitay, Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, Matt LeBlanc, Fifth Harmony, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Idina Menzel, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd and Avril Lavigne.
