Skyler Gisondo has joined the cast of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Netflix’s sequel series to the limited series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp that was based on the cult 2001 movie. The new series was set up by a scene at the end of the movie where Bradley Cooper’s character proposes,” Let’s all promise that in 10 years from today, we’ll meet again, and we’ll see what kind of people we’ve blossomed into,” and all agree. Gisondo will play Jeremy “Deegs” Deegenstein, a junior counselor and the coolest guy in camp. He’s constantly the center of attention with his show-offy antics. He recently wrapped filming on a series-regular role in Netflix’s upcoming The Santa Clarita Diet. Other recent credits include Hard Sell, Vacation and Night of the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. Gisondo is repped by Paradigm, Untitled and Jackoway Tyerman.
Emma Duncan has book a series-regular role in Mating, Showtime comedy pilot from Jason Katims and Stu Zicherman that stars Taran Killam and Jim Belushi. Mating centers on Jay (Killam), a recently divorced guy who married young and now finds himself completely unprepared for the brave new, frank and fluid world of dating and hooking up. Duncan will play Katie, Jay’s ex-wife, his first and only love who he married after graduation but now feels she’s outgrown him. Duncan appeared in the Public Theatre’s production of Cymbeline, and recent credits include Chicago Justice and a recurring role on the TNT pilot Civil. She is repped by Innovative and Gartner/Green.
