Felicity Jones will host the first Saturday Night Live of the new year, with the Rogue One star hitting 30 Rock January 14 along with musical guest Sturgill Simpson.
The announcement was posted onscreen as tonight’s Casey Affleck-hosted show went to break.
Jones has appeared in The Theory of Everything and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but obviously it’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that’s handing the actress this gig.
Sturgill Simpson is a country performer whose Grammy-nominated album A Sailor’s Guide to Earth dropped last spring.
