Rita Ora has announced a UK tour for 2018.

The 26-year-old pop star will head out in support of her second studio album, which is as yet untitled, and expected to be released in March.

The ‘Body On Me’ singer will kick off the run of dates at O2 Academy Glasgow, Scotland on May 11, before wrapping in Bristol, South West England on May 19.

Sharing the news with her fans – known as Ritabots – on Twitter, she wrote: ”Ritabots I’m coming for you!!!! Can’t wait to play in your city Tickets on-sale Friday at 10am GMT!!! (sic)”

Fans have been waiting five years for the follow-up to Rita’s debut LP ‘Ora’, which was released in August 2012.

The blonde beauty’s latest single ‘Anywhere’, ‘Your Song’ and ‘Lonely Together’ featuring Avicii will all feature on the record.

Rita recently revealed she and Ed Sheeran collaborated on ‘Your Song’ after he sent her a demo of the track.

She is open to working with other musicians, and was delighted when her long-time friend reached out when he heard she was working on her upcoming album.

She said: ”We were friends for a long time, since we were 16. We had the same management before we released any music.

”He asked if I was still making my album, and he sent me a demo. I thought it was crazy great.”
