Paul Walker may be gone, but he’s certainly not forgotten.
As the one-year anniversary of the Fast and Furious star’s tragic death approaches Sunday, his proud brother Cody Walker is reflecting on the talented actor’s life as well as Reach Out Worldwide, a charity near and dear to his heart.
“ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed,” Cody told E! News. “I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it.”
In the past 12 months alone, the organization has completed a toy drive for the holidays, stuffed thousands of backpacks for back to school season and even deployed a team to Mayflower, Ark., to assist in the devastating tornado.
What could be most impressive is the fact that Cody and his team headed to the Philippines on a medical mission to provide aid for those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.

“These missions are truly life changing for all involved,” Cody reflected. “I’m so proud to be a part of this.”
No matter where the group travels or who they help, Cody continues to think of his brother who lived a positive life he hoped many could experience.
“Just live your life to the fullest. Laugh a lot, love and find your true happiness,” Cody shared when asked what he wants people to learn from Paul’s life. “Remember that no matter how cool you think you may be, you’re not cool enough to look down on anyone…ever.”
While ROWW gears up for another toy drive, fans of the Walker family will be able to see Paul on the big screen one last time. He reprises his role as Brian O’Connor in Furious 7, out April 3, 2015.

In the meantime, the Walker family will continue to carry on his legacy as a man who loved to give as much as he liked to act.
“This year has been very challenging but also extremely rewarding. ROWW would like to thank all of our supporters who have gotten us through this very difficult year,” Cody said. “Thanks to you, Paul’s legacy lives on through ROWW.”
He added, “I am so lucky to have had him as a big brother.”
