Randy Travis, 53, was arrested last night in Grayson County, Texas for a DWI, a rep for the Sheriff’s office confirmed to EW.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s office said a black 1998 Pontiac Trans Am, registered to Randy Travis, of Tioga, had driven off of the north side of the road, striking several barricades in a construction zone. Travis was the only occupant in the vehicle, and refused all sobriety tests.
A search warrant was obtained and a blood specimen was taken. The test results are pending.Travis also made threats against Texas Highway Patrol troopers, resulting in an additional charge of Retaliation.
TMZ reports that he was naked at the time of arrest and was released early this morning.
