The Emmy-nominated designer passed away at his home in West Hollywood, California on 4 April (16).
Kraner began his career as a set director on 1981’s My Dinner With Andre and he went on to design sets for TV shows and films including Uncle Buck, Lean on Me, Devious Maids, Gotham and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
His work on Gotham earned him Emmy Award and Art Directors Guild nominations.
