With the overwhelming success of the first two “Pitch Perfect” movies, Universal Pictures and Gold Circle can’t help but go for the hat trick.
According to multiple sources, “Pitch Perfect 3” will begin pre-production later this year and Kay Cannon (she wrote the first two scripts) will return as writer.
In the first chapter, stars like Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson were paid right around $ 100,000, though in part two they both got raises and scored about $ 2 million each. For the third project, there’s no telling what they’ll demand, given that “Pitch Perfect 2” has raked in a whopping $ 160.9 million domestically so far.
