Piers Morgan Proclaims Feminism “Dead” After Kim Kardashian And Emily Ratajkowski’s Naked Selfie

Never short of an opinion or two at any given moment, British presenter Piers Morgan has lamented the joint topless selfie taken by Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski and declared that feminism is dead.

Morgan took to Twitter on Wednesday (March 30th) after the model and actress posted a nude photo of themselves flipping off the camera without their shirts on. “RIP feminism” wrote the presenter, sharing a black-and-white portrait of Suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst contrasted with the selfie.

“If women genuinely think this photo advocated women’s rights and equality, then feminism as it was intended is dead,” he wrote later on. “Classy ladies. Real classy.”

Kim captioned the latest topless photo: “When we’re like… we both have nothing to wear LOL” – a reference to THAT controversial naked selfie from March 7th, which caused a social media uproar and which she had captioned: “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.”

However, it didn’t impress the former CNN talk show presenter, who fired: “Just a thought @KimKardashian and @emrata – but you could always try wearing a little dignity?”

Ratajkowski, one of the stars of Gone Girl and who made a name for herself starring in Robin Thicke’s infamous ‘Blurred Lines’ video, argued: “However sexual our bodies may be, we need to hve [sic] the freedom as woman to choose whn [sic] & how we express our sexuality.”

“Yes, luv, but giving the bird to millions of strangers as you stand topless & gormless probably isn’t the best way,” Morgan replied, later adding “enough of this nonsensical pseudo-feminist gibberish. If not for me, then for Emmeline.”

The ‘Good Morning Britain’ co-presenter also refused to back down in the face of critics who accused him of “slut shaming”. “I don’t dispute their right to get their kit off & flick the bird to millions of strangers,” he argued. “It’s just tacky.”
