Sarah Paulson isn’t just going to perm her hair to play Marcia Clark in Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming O.J. Simpson project.
She’s going to be slipping on a wig of the famous prosecutor’s signature curly locks.
The American Horror Story star says she “can’t wait” to be fitted for the fake piece.
“The minute I knew I was doing it, I was like, ‘It’s the wig! I get to wear the wig!” she told me last night at Elle‘s Women in TV celebration at the Sunset Tower hotel.

That’s exactly what we thought, too!
“I’m probably going to sleep in it,” Paulson joked. (At least we think she was joking.)
The 10-episode miniseries for FX will star Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. as the former football star. Entitled The People v. O.J. Simpson, the anthology is based on legal expert Jeffrey Toobin‘s best-seller The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.
Murphy is set to direct as well executive produce with Brad Falchuk and Dante Di Loreto.
Paulson has appeared in every season of American Horror Story. She plays conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler in the current season, Freak Show. Her other TV credits include Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Game Change, the HBO movie about Sarah Palin‘s vice presidential bid in the 2008 election. Paulson played Nicolle Wallace, a former John McCain advisor who is now a co-host on The View.
