Serving to brighten up even the gloomiest day, Michelle Williams has a song of hope called “Say Yes,” and she just released the music video.
The Destiny’s Child dame even invited her bandmates Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland to lend their voices to the gospel track, giving fans a rare and much-appreciated treat.
Williams told “Good Morning America,” “Working together with Destiny’s Child again was amazing. I am just so moved by this moment right now and to have my girls on there.”
“Sometimes the director or production assistants had to say like, ‘OK, girls, bring it back home. Bring it back together because when we were together, we go back to how we were when we were younger, just always laughing and talking about things. It’s been a great moment.”
“Say Yes” comes from Journey to Freedom, Michelle’s forthcoming album. “Freedom from what was probably keeping me from being my best. It could have been bad relationships, business and personal wise. Not feeling all the way confident within myself. It’s about breaking free from whatever it is that’s keeping you from being the best person you can be.”
