The last two months have been a learning experience for Michael Strahan.
On Thursday, the 44-year-old opened up to E! News about his personal and professional life at a screening for his new movie Ice Age: Collision Course in New York City and revealed he’s “learned to have fun” since leaving LIVE.
“You know what? I’ve learned to have fun. Life is not that serious,” Strahan told E! News. “We have so many things that happen that make you realize how precious life is, how you’d better enjoy every day and that your attitude is—you can determine what your attitude is. You wake up, you make yourself happy, you make yourself whatever you want it to be, and that’s how I look at it every day that I wake up and that’s been more than in the last few months. That’s just the way I live my life.”
Strahan left his co-hosting job with Kelly Ripa in May to join Good Morning America as a full-time co-host. With his September start date quickly approaching, Strahan told E! News he “can’t wait” to begin his new job.
