great little drum set,
The set comes mostly disassembled so if you are an elf prepping this for Christmas, give yourself some time. I highly recommend adding a pillow inside the bass drum to give a more professional studio sound.
The highs:
drum sound
build quality
sturdiness
size for a small child (probably up to 5′ tall)
looks professional
The lows:
cymbal and high hat sound “tinny” but not near as bad as most “toy” sets
“unknown” if you can buy replacement drum heads
“unknown” if you can buy replacement drum sticks (ie will “real” sticks tear up the drum heads too fast)
bass pedal needs periodic oiling
Once I find out the question about replacement heads and sticks I’ll update this review.
Overall if you have an aspiring drummer in your family, this set would be hard to beat!
