Marvel just dropped a second official trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron during ESPN’s coverage of the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship. We get more of the evil A.I.-gone-haywire Ultron, the Avengers team in distress and that haunting Pinocchio theme.
The 1:40-minute peek aired during tonight’s championship game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks, whose team colors happen to coincide with the Iron Man-Hulk street brawl glimpsed in the trailer. Now that’s marketing magic.
The Joss Whedon-directed superhero sequel starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgård, James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson hits theaters on May 1.
