The Hulk is taking a stand!

And we all know you don’t want to mess with him…

Mark Ruffalo is putting his best efforts towards making sure kids everywhere have a chance to play with their favorite female super hero from Avengers: Age of Ultron. The 47-year-old actor recently took notice of Marvel’s choice not to include Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) from nearly all of its products including t-shirts and toys.

To make mention of this issue, the movie star utilized his very active social media account and wrote a heartfelt message to Marvel as well as his 1.48 million Twitter followers.

“@Marvel we need more #BlackWidow merchandise for my daughters and nieces. Pretty please,” the Foxcatcher star tweeted.

Ruffalo isn’t the only person who feels this way about Black Widow’s exile from the world of sold goods. Fans have even started a #Where’sNatasha hashtag, referring to the character’s alter-ego and alluding to the lack of representation she is receiving.

Ruffalo has been taking lead on these types of issues. Cosmopolitan U.K. recently flipped the script during a tandem interview with Ruffallo and Johansson  and decided to ask the male star about his red carpet poses and fitness routine, to Scarlett’s utmost joy. Back in 2012 when ScarJo was being interviewed about the first movie, one reporter had asked her questions solely about her diet and underwear.

“Did they ever go, ‘Mark! Over your shoulder!'” the four-time Golden Globe winner jokingly asked him in reference to a standard, sultry over-the-shoulder pose requested by photographers for female stars.
