With the three headliners already announced, the first of the remaining line-up of acts have now been announced for Download Festival 2018, with Marilyn Manson leading the new announcements at next summer’s Donington Park spectacle. Don’t forget to grab tickets while you can because we expect they’ll sell out quickly.

Download returns to Leicestershire, UK once again on June 8th 2018 for three days of the best rock ‘n’ roll in the world. It’s now been revealed that joining stellar headliners Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses and Ozzy Osbourne are the likes of shock rocker Marilyn Manson, Bullet For My Valentine and Parkway Drive.
Manson only recently dropped his tenth studio album ‘Heaven Upside Down’ so he marks an exciting edition to the line-up. He’s the only one of the acts so far announced that played the very first Download in 2003, and 2018 will mark his fifth appearance at the event in total.
Meanwhile, Parkway Drive are ‘super stoked’ to return for a fourth time. ‘It’s always a highlight for us to play Download and this time around we’re aiming to top it all’, they said in a statement.
Bullet For My Valentine are pretty much a Download staple, now that they’re appearing for the eighth time in their career. It’s actually been five whole years since they were last on the bill so they are glad to be back. ‘We’re more than ready to get back on that legendary stage and do what we do best’, they said.
Asking Alexandria have also had to wait half a decade to be invited back to Download, while Japanese band Babymetal are thrilled to return for a second time after making their debut last year.
Throwing a bit of rap into the mix is Body Count with Ice T. The rest of the line-up so far includes Rise Against, Alexisonfire, Black Veil Brides, Neck Deep, Meshuggah, In This Moment, The Hives, Mayday Parade, Dream State, WSTR and The Pink Slips.
