Move over Kim Kardashian because Mariah Carey is coming for your gig! The pop diva has just landed her own eight-part E! reality series titled ‘Mariah’s World’. The series will follow Mariah as she begins her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour and plans her wedding to billionaire James Packer.

“I’m excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I’m about to embark on,” Mariah said in a press release. “I’m already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments.”
Along will tracking Mariah on her upcoming tour across the United States, Europe and Africa, the series will also give fans a glimpse into her personal life, showing how she manages to juggle her career alongside raising twins.

Speaking to the New York Times, Carey said: “I thought it would be a good opportunity to kind of, like, show my personality and who I am, even though I feel like my real fans have an idea of who I am. A lot of people have misperceptions about this and that.”
But don’t expect Carey’s children to feature heavily in the series. “I don’t want to do anything that’s exploitative,” she explained. “They haven’t been filmed at all yet. There might be a couple of moments, but it’s not about making them the stars of the show. They’re too young to make that decision.”

Carey’s fiancé James Packer is also off limits “He’s a legit businessman,’’ the singer added. “It’s not really his thing to be, like, traipsing all over Europe and hanging out with all my crew and dancers and singers.”
The show is being produced by Bunim/Murray and began filming two weeks ago when she wrapped up her Las Vegas concert series. No premiere date has been given yet, but according to the New York Times the series is likely to debut late this summer.
