EXCLUSIVE: Will Sasso is set to star opposite Ron Livingston in Loudermilk, AT&T Audience Network’s new half-hour scripted comedy created by Peter Farrelly and former Colbert Report writer Bobby Mort.
The 10-episode series centers on Sam Loudermilk (Livingston), a recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude. He’s unapologetically uncensored and manages to anger everyone in his life. To Dave, a stranger is just an enemy he hasn’t met yet. Although he’s got his drinking under control, his life is one step forward, 12 steps back.
Sasso will play Ben Burns, best friend, roommate and sobriety sponsor to Loudermilk. Although Ben seems to be Sam’s one real source of stability, he is fighting demons of his own. Repped by D2 Management, APA, and attorney Jonathan Moonves, Sasso recently was set to star in Amazon’s comedy pilot Budding Prospects. Other recent credits include MADtv, Fool Canada and Hot in Cleveland. He also played Curly in the Farrelly brothers feature The Three Stooges and is set to reprise the role in a sequel. He next is set to appears in features including Killing Hasselhoff and Super Troopers 2.
Production is underway in Vancouver on Loudermilk, which is co-produced and co-financed by Primary Wave Entertainment. Farrelly and Mort executive produce along with Christopher Long, Mark Burg and David Guillod.
