Minnelli is best known for her iconic role as singer Sally Bowles in the 1972 film Cabaret, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. The entertainer is one of the few artists who can boast having an Oscar, a Tony, an Emmy and a Grammy win to their name.
The daughter of Hollywood legend Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli, Liza has been opened about her past substance abuse issues and has previously sought treatment for alcohol and painkiller addiction.
Minnelli has also battled several health problems over the years and last September she underwent back surgery to help heal an injury that had prevented her from performing recently and attending the funeral of friend Joan Rivers.
