Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones was forced to take down her official website yesterday after it was hacked, with the perpetrators seizing nude pictures from her iCloud account and posting them publically.
Widespread reports, originating with TMZ, say that Jones’ management took down JustLeslie.com at about 9am on Wednesday (August 24th).

Jones’ passport and driver’s license were also reportedly posted, giving away her home address according to Gossip Cop, along with a video of Harambe the gorilla, to whom Jones was cruelly compared by racist trolls after the animal was shot dead in May at Cincinnati Zoo when a child got into the enclosure.
On top of this, a series of nude mirror selfies and graphic images were leaked, as well as assorted fellow celebrity selfies, with the likes of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna.

The actress and comedienne has not yet commented officially on the breach, but it’s just the latest in a string of abusive harassment that has been aimed at the 48 year old in the last few months, along with her three co-stars of the all-female Ghostbusters re-boot.
Jones decided to re-tweet many of the misogynist and racist comments directed at her in July, which variously called her an “ape” and a “savage”, before taking a brief hiatus from the social networking site.
“I feel like I’m in a personal hell. I didn’t do anything to deserve this. It’s just too much. It shouldn’t be like this. So hurt right now,” she tweeted at the time. However, her enthusiastic live-tweeting of Team USA’s progress at the recent Rio Olympics got her an invitation from NBC to become part of the reporting team.
