This is going to be a road trip to remember!
Lea Michele and Kate Upton have just booked their next vacation and we’re all invited to watch on the big screen!
E! News has learned the two Hollywood stars will play a pair of lifelong best friends who decide to avoid their problems by taking a vacation in The Layover. Their plans, however, will drastically change once a hurricane warning hits town. Oh, and there’s also one guy they both have a crush on. Can you say drama?!
“I have some very exciting news to share….” Michele tweeted to her fans Wednesday afternoon. “So excited to be working with the amazing @WilliamHMacy & the gorgeous @KateUpton on our new film #TheLayover this spring!!!”
She added, “We’ve already started rehearsals and have been having the best time!!! This is going to be a fun one!!! #TheLayover”

Earlier this week, Macy hinted about a project he would be working on. However, we didn’t exactly know it would be this entertaining.
“And so it begins,” he tweeted while hard at work. “My next project…to be announced soon.” Mystery solved!
This next project will be extra special for Michele as she recently wrapped up her time on Glee after six seasons. Upton’s most recent big-screen project was when she co-starred with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in The Other Woman.
“The minute I met Lea and Kate, the film began to focus for me,” Macy said in a release to E! News. “They are singular, ambitious funny women in full. This is going to be fun.”
