Stepping out for some publicity duties, Kristen Bell was spotted at the Bing and Self Magazine celebration of her Self cover issue last night (January 22).
The “Veronica Mars” actress hammed it up with Self editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger at the Bing Bar where her new show “House of Lies” also had a screening as part of the Sundance Film Festival.
Kristen told press that “House of Lies” is quite the departure for her, and the whole vibe took some getting used to.
“Being in a strip club in the middle of the afternoon with the lights on was a little unnerving. There’s a scene where I have to dance sexily around in my underwear that made me very nervous. The part scared me a little bit.”
“It’s important to show that it is a shark tank and it is sink-or-swim and [my character] Jeannie would not be able to work there if she didn’t play like a boy and get as dirty as they did.”
