Kristen Bell thinks humour keeps her romance with Dax Shepard ”spicy”.
The 37-year-old actress has been married to the fellow actor and director – with whom she has daughters Lincoln, four, and Delta, two – since 2013, and has admitted the pair keep their relationship interesting by making each other laugh.
She said: ”Well the funny keeps it spicy for us a lot. He keeps me laughing all the time. I try to make him laugh and every now and again I get there. But really it’s just being aware of the other person’s needs is also hot.”
And whilst the ‘A Bad Mom’s Christmas’ actress admits their love life isn’t always as passionate as it used to be, she jokes that she often gets turned on when her spouse does simple tasks like making a cup of coffee.
Speaking to E! News, the ‘Frozen’ star said: ”It’s not like anybody’s closing the door after work and ripping each other’s clothes off. It sort of comes out of like, he’ll make the coffee or like wear a Christmas sweater to the ‘Bad Moms’ premiere, which I was like, ‘Are you trying to make me horny?’ Come on!”
Kristen’s comments come after she previously revealed she and Dax, 42, used to ”fight a lot” during the early stages of their romance.
She said: ”When we first met, we fell madly in love and I love the dramatic exit. There is nothing I crave more.
”The first year, you are working out your kinks. I loved it.
”We’d get in a fight, because we would fight a lot, and I’d, like, yell something then slam the bedroom door, then I’d slam the front door, then I’d get in my car and then I’d skid out the driveway and I would sit around the corner in my car and it felt so good and I realised how incredibly toxic it was only after he pointed it out.”
