Kim Kardashian West is not a feminist.
The 35-year-old reality TV star says she doesn’t want to label herself and even though she is supportive of other women, she doesn’t feel the need to call herself a feminist.
Speaking at the BlogHer conference in Los Angeles, Kim said: ”I don’t think that I am. I think that I’m just. I don’t like labels. I just think I do what makes me happy and I want women to be confident and I’m so supportive of women. I love nothing more than supporting my friends and other women.”
”But I’m not the free-the-nipple type girl. If you’re not comfortable with that don’t do it! You know, so I’m not about the labels. Just be you. Be confident within you and if you’re not, then that’s fine too. Just like no hate. That’s my thing. It’s just be happy, spread love, no hate. No need for it.”
Kim also revealed that she posts nude selfies because she is proud of her body after having two children, North, three and Saint, seven months.
She answered: ”Because I feel good about myself! I mean after you have a kid, now if you have two kids, there is a feeling that … I mean I lost 70 pounds! So when you dedicate yourself [to] getting up every morning. You know waking up at six in the morning, feeding one baby, running to go workout for an hour, coming back, feeding another baby — my husband. And then coming back and then my daughter wakes up, having to feed her. You know it’s like I have three people that I have to take care of.”
Kim also revealed that her husband Kanye West has taught her to be more private about her life, while she has helped him to be more open.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star said: ”My husband is on our show sometimes, but we do have a really private you know relationship. He’s very private even though he’s in the business and I’m very open. And so he’s really taught me how to become a little bit more private and I’ve taught him how to be a little bit more open and it really works for us. So I definitely say that part of my home life and life with my kids, I try to hold onto.”
