Less than a week after the death of Jamie Sangouthai, Lamar Odom has lost another close friend, producer Bobby Heyward, who died on Saturday of a reported drug overdose. According to US Weekly, Heyward’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, however they have not yet revealed the cause.

Heyward’s passing comes just days after the death of Jamie Sangouthai on June 14th. Sangouthai was a high school friend of Odom’s who passed away due to a flesh eating disease caused by using dirty needles, according to a report by the L.A. County Coroner.

In his last post on Instagram, Heyward paid tribute to Sangouthai, posting a picture of the two together along with Odom. “#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed, Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt,” Heyward captioned the image.

Heyward is said to have also been a close friend of Odom’s ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who US Weekly reports is trying to be there for her former husband during this difficult time. The magazine also reports that Odom is “beside himself” following Heyward’s death as the pair were still very close friends.
