Kendall Jenner “felt bad” for her stalker.
The 21-year-old model admitted she dreaded having to testify against Shavaughn McKenzie last August – following an incident where he accosted her in the grounds of her Hollywood Hills estate – because she wasn’t sure he truly understood his actions.
Speaking to her mother Kris Jenner on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, Kendall said: “Is it like, weird of me though, that I feel bad for him?
“I don’t think he’s mentally there. I don’t even know if he can control what he’s doing. Like, he thinks what he’s doing is normal and fine.”
but eventually faced her fears – and found the experience wasn’t as terrible as she expected.
But Kendall also admitted she still felt bad for the stranger, who she was eventually given a five-year restraining order against.
She told her father, Caitlyn Jenner: “I hate that someone said online that ‘Kendall has an obsessed fan.’ A fan loves you, wants an autograph, a picture. He’s just, like, obsessed.
“It’s really sad. I was on the verge of tears the whole time because I felt bad for him.
“Even though it’s necessary right now, it makes me sad… [but] it’s definitely necessary to protect myself, because I don’t know what anyone is capable of doing.
“I don’t know what’s happening in the universe.”
