Katie Price has made more shocking remarks about her former best friend Jane Pountney, whom she caught having an affair with her husband Kieran Hayler back in 2014, saying she “needs to go and die”.
The pair were extremely close for friends for several years, until 38 year old Price discovered that Hayler had been conducting a secret affair with Pountney for around 10 months behind her back. They haven’t spoken in nearly two years.
In a new interview with Closer magazine this week, Price claims that she “ruined her life” and repeated that she wants nothing less than her early death.

“That’s all she needs to do. I hope she dies a painful death – if I had a voodoo doll I would use it every day,” she said of the fall-out of the incident. She eventually forgave Hayler, 29, but cut Pountney out of her life altogether.
Price had initially said something similar while being interviewed about her new book last week on ‘Loose Women’, and repeated once again. Many onlookers pointed out that using such language against anyone, particularly as she’s been so vocal against online trolling, makes her somewhat hypocritical.

However, she denied any double standards. “I totally stand by my comments. And Kieran will never, ever know the pain and hurt I went through. It was like two people were murdered.”
She had previously told The Sun over the weekend that discovering about the affair had made her suicidal, describing it as the “ultimate betrayal”. “I have never ever been so low as after I found out about them. I just wanted to end it all. I wanted to commit suicide.”
Earlier in August, many thought Price had deliberately thrown shade at her former BFF on Instagram, with a text photo that simply read: “Be very careful with what you hear and believe about a woman. It may have come from a man who can’t never get her, or a woman who can never compete with her.”
