Kathie Lee Gifford and late husband Frank Gifford received moving and bittersweet messages from Today show co-host Hoda Kotb and longtime friend Kris Jenner on Sunday, her 62nd birthday, which would also have been the day he turned 85.
The NFL Hall of Famer and veteran sports broadcaster died at age 84 just one week ago.
“2 amazing people were born today xo all my love,” Kotb, 51, said on Twitter, alongside a photo of Kathie Lee and Frank.
The two are the godparents of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner‘s daughters Kendall Jenner, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 18.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend Kathie Lee,” Kris, 59, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, alongside a selfie of the two of them. “I wish you peace and understanding. I know it’s Franks birthday today too. I wish I was there with you today. Big hug my angel.”
