It’s never a big deal for an actor to lock lips with someone they don’t know very well, but it’s kind of adorable when they do it off a movie set. Kate Winslet got to smooch her idol Allison Janney at the Hollywood Film Awards, and it was everything she wanted.

The ‘Titanic’ actress landed the Hollywood Actress Award for her role as Ginny in Woody Allen’s fifties drama ‘Wonder Wheel’ during the awards show on Sunday (November 5th 2017), and during her acceptance speech she paid tribute to another winner of the night.
‘Allison Janney is in this room. Allison, I know I don’t really know you, but I just want to be you. I do’, said Kate, as Allison beamed from her seat in the audience. ‘Or just stroke you or something … I mean, we could always kiss, maybe?’

The winner of the Hollywood Supporting Actress Award, for her role in ‘I, Tonya’, certainly did not need to be asked twice and promptly got up from her seat and hurried towards the stage as Kate gave a flustered grin.
‘Oh, it’s going to happen!’ She said. ‘This is an exciting moment, isn’t it?’ The two actresses then gave each other an awkward bump on the lips and a quick hug as Kate told her, ‘I love you!’
‘Thank you very much’, said Kate as Allison returned to her seat. ‘Now I’m a little bit breathless.’
