The Live Free or Die Hard star is hesitant to become a driver in Los Angeles or New York, but he likes the idea of driving people around Austin, Texas, where he spends part of the year.
“I thought Austin would be a little bit (better) because people don’t really care (about celebrity) as much,” he told late night host James Corden on Tuesday (15Dec15). “I went for a ride-along with a friend of mine who is an Uber driver… Once in a while people would get in and they would look at me and see that I was an actor. But we had one guy that we drove for, like, 20 minutes and there was no mention of me.
“He was just talking about whatever and at the end of the ride he got out and he goes, ‘Oh hey, by the way, are they making a Jeepers Creepers 3?’ and I said, ‘Yeah, I think they are’, and like totally non-plussed, he said, ‘Oh, OK’.”
