The Cosby Show star is facing suits from several women, who have accused the comic of sexual misconduct, and in June (15), executives at AIG Property Casualty Company filed a lawsuit claiming they were not financially responsible for any of the 79-year-old’s alleged indiscretions.

According to TheWrap.com, Cosby’s policies with the company covered personal injury, including defamation, libel and slander, but not claims that were filed “out of any actual, alleged or threatened… sexual molestation, misconduct or harassment”.

Cosby asked for the suit to be dismissed or postponed until his defamation cases were resolved, but in December (15) a judge denied his request.

A federal judge has now ruled executives at the company must cover him in the cases.

Meanwhile, Cosby is facing three charges of felony indecent assault over allegations he drugged and sexually assaulted former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania home in 2004. His representatives have repeatedly denied the claims.

The Constand case is set to go to trial in June (17).
