Jimmy Kimmel Live has booked Chicago Cubs’ World Series champ Kris Bryant for his late-night TV debut. Kimmel will sit down on Monday with Bryant, a fellow Las Vegas native, to talk about how the MVP candidate helped bring an end the Cubbies’ curse.
Wednesday night’s World Series Game 7 victory by the Chicago Cubs over the Cleveland Indians marked the first time the Windy City team had won a baseball championship in a 108 years. Game 7 also was huge in TV terms, watched by 40 million on Fox — the best any baseball game has done since 1991.
