After a whirlwind courtship and engagement, Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard on Saturday (June 21) in Springdale, Arkansas.
The “19 Kids and Counting” star wed her sweetheart in front of 1000 guests during a ceremony at Cross Church.
Jill is the second oldest daughter in the Duggar family, which has nineteen children. Several of her siblings served as bridesmaids.
The wedding also marked the couple’s first kiss. “I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should – we want to have no regrets,” Jill told People after their engagement.
