Jennifer Lopez has returned to Instagram for the first time since news of her split with long-time boyfriend Casper Smart broke earlier this week. The signer and actress posted a cryptic message to the photo-sharing site, which seemed to allude to her recent heartbreak.
Taken on the set of her NBC cop drama ‘Shades of Blue’, J.Lo was pictured in a suit, standing above some sidewalk graffiti which read ‘Protect Yo Heart’. Lopez caption the pic ‘@egt239 I think this is what you meant to post,’ a message to the show’s producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who had also shared the photo but accidentally cropped out the message on the street art.

Earlier this week it was reported that Lopez had split from longtime on again-off again boyfriend Casper Smart. A source told People magazine: “Jennifer and Casper have split They have not been together for a few weeks.
“It wasn’t anything dramatic and they were on good terms – it just came to a natural end,” the source added. “They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable.”

The couple were first rumoured to be dating in 2011, with Lopez confirming the romance a year later. Speaking about his girlfriend earlier this year to People, 29-year-old Smart had said: “She’s sweet, funny, nice, easygoing and gracious. You can’t ask for anything more. She’s beautiful.”
