The Wedding Crashers star reveals she is frequently mistaken for her fellow red-head, her co-star in new movie Nocturnal Animals, so one year, she and her comedian husband Sacha Baron Cohen decided to try and trick their friends and relatives.
But the prank didn’t quite play out as planned.
She told U.S. breakfast show Today, “One year for our holiday greeting card, I cut-and-pasted Amy Adams’ face over mine, so it was Sacha, Amy, and the kids, and then we said, ‘Seasons greetings from Sacha, Isla and (the kids)’. And no one noticed!
“Everyone was like, ‘Oh, your card was so cute.’ I was like, ‘It was a joke, it’s not me, it’s Amy!'”
