This week marks the 3rd anniversary of the death of ‘Fast and Furious’ star Paul Walker, and stars the likes of Tyrese Gibson and Vin Diesel are already expressing their sadness via social media as they remember their late friend who passed away after a road accident in 2013.

On Wednesday (November 30th 2016), it will be three years since Paul Walker died at the age of 40. He was a car enthusiast who died beside his friend Roger Rodas in the latter’s 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when they crashed into a lamppost and some trees on the way to a charity event. His death was attributed to traumatic and thermal trauma.

As well as starring as Brian O’Conner in the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise (all movies apart from ‘Tokyo Drift’), Walker also appeared in Richard Donner’s 2003 time-travelling adventure ‘Timeline’ and the diving-crime thriller ‘Into The Blue’ opposite Jessica Alba. Three movies starring Walker were released the year he died: crime drama ‘Vehicle 19’, Hurricane Katrina thriller ‘Hours’ and crime comedy ‘Pawn Shop Chronicles’. ‘Brick Mansions’, a movie based on the French film ‘District 13’ and written by Luc Besson, was released the following year.

Walker’s last movie was ‘Furious 7’. He died during filming, which meant that a combination of his brothers Caleb and Cody as body doubles and CGI had to be used to completed filming. He was also due to play the lead in ‘Hitman: Agent 47’, but in light of his death the role was taken on by Rupert Friend.
