“Gigi Hadid is undeniably stunning,” claimed celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta…could you agree more?
Throw a show-stopping copper eye in the mix and that equation is pretty much deadly. So it’s no surprise that yesterday when the supermodel stepped out for the celebration of Sports Illustrated Swim (wearing exactly that), the beauty world went wild.
Straight from the creator’s mouth, it’s how to mimic last night’s fierce face—see below.
EYES: This was no job for one color. First, Patrick “used a pinky bronze blush in the crease to create that transition color.” Then he applied Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Pure Pigment in Pink Rebel to the lids with a flat brush and used a Mac 217 brush to blend the color up. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Pure Pigment in Improper Copper was then added to the top lid to create burgundy. “Then, curl your lashes twice and coat twice with black mascara. I didn’t want to apply lashes because I felt the lashes would hide the eyes-shadow color,” added the beauty guru.
Note: “if you have a burgundy shadow already you can, of course, go straight to that color!”

BROWS: “She has great brows already, so I kept them natural and combed up with a brush to have all the hair in the same direction,” said the artist.
LIPS: To complete the look, “apply Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Color in Nude Lust and top it off with Chapstick.”
It’s that easy. Oh, and “remember: when wearing a bold eye color, you want to let that color shine. To make color work, keep the rest of the face clean and fresh,” concluded the pro.
