French horror scribe Grégory Levasseur (High Tension) moves into the director’s chair with The Pyramid, an enclosed-space thriller about a team of archaologists who find horrors buried inside an ancient lost pyramid. Levasseur’s frequent collaborator Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, P2, Mirrors, and the upcoming Horns) produced his longtime pal’s helming debut alongside Mark Canton and Chady Eli Mattar. Ashley Hinshaw, James Buckley, Denis O’Hare, Christa-Marie Nicola, and Amir K. star in the pic written by Daniel Meersand and Nick Simon.
