Keanu Reeves comes out guns blazing in the first trailer for John Wick, the action thriller from directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch that Lionsgate will release on October 24. Reeves plays the title role of an ex-hitman who abandons retirement when thugs take his ’69 Mustang and kill his dog. In getting his revenge, Wick faces off with a crime boss and an old colleague. It’s Reeves’ latest action role after last year’s Universal flop 47 Ronin. Willem Dafoe, Ian McShane, and Adrienne Palicki co-star in the Derek Kolstad-scripted film, which will screen this month at genre fest Fantastic Fest with Reeves and the directors in attendance.
