The Perfect Music Stand,
Then comes the new Hercules folding, portable stand…which not only is super stable, has an excellent music “desk”, allows you to not only easily raise/lower the stand but also has a forward/backward travel of about 10 inches that allows you to get the stand in perfect position, folds into an easy to transport format, BUT ALSO includes two places to mount woodwind/trumpet pegs on the legs! What this means is that a flute/clarinet/soprano sax/trumpet player doesn’t have to bring a separate instrument stand, thus saving another thing to setup and take valuable space! What a GREAT feature…wonder why no one has figured this out until recently when Hercules did!?!?
My only complaint is that Hercules does not have a sax “peg” (not exactly a peg…) that can screw into one of the legs to hold and alto or tenor sax. I tried using the “sax peg” that came with my Hercules Bari Sax stand, but the threads are a tiny bit larger than those on the music stand (why did you do this Hercules?!?!) so it won’t work…but would fit just fine if the threads were the same. Otherwise, I cannot recommend any other stand than this one! Problem is, after I bought mine and my wife (flutist/vocalist) saw how well it worked and “HAD” to have one for herself…and now many of my friends are also ordering the stands. But this one if you need a music stand!

WOW what a great music stand… my wife agrees too!,
After receiving the stand we opened up the box and was happy to see the quality of the stand. It’s metal so it is heavier that it looks but the quality build is wonderful. It took all but about 5 minutes to set up. The legs are very high quality metal and my wife noticed the rubber feet are extremely well made and thick. Once we unfolded the legs I placed the stand top on to the pole and latched it down. My wife liked that the shelf folded down and also had sheet music holders (which is good for when you are outside). She also like the ability to adjust the stand height with the EZ Height adjustment grip. It is easy to raise and lower and works for both sitting down or standing up.
This music stand is sturdy, easy to put together and it even came with a FREE clip to hold your music books open while playing. Nice touch Hercules! I would recommend this stand over any of the ones I looked at online or in the stores. I also ordered the Hercules BSB001 Carry Bag For BS401/411/300B ($17.95 including S&H) for her to carry the stand in. Fits perfect can’t go wrong with either purchase. The quality can’t be beat… wish the bag was a little more subtle displaying the Hercules name / brand, other than that NO complaints! Run don’t walk to get this item, you won’t regret it. I don’t and my wife couldn’t be happier!! A++
