The actress, who stars in TV show Supergirl, revealed to U.S. chat show host Jimmy Kimmel that her husband struggles to keep in touch via text message.
“He is currently in Australia. We talk all the time. He’s learning to text,” Calista says of the Star Wars actor, who is still on the huge promotional tour for the new movie. “But he’s learning! He’s getting better.”
She comically demonstrated Harrison’s texting ability, making slow movements and grunting as she pretended to type out a message.
Harrison also has trouble understanding emojis, telling the host, “He says, ‘Where’d you get that picture from?’ It’s really bad.”
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is due to be released on 17 December (15) in the U.K., and on 18 December (15) in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
