In it, she plays herself, pretending to be the comic’s date as he attempts to do a deal with a Russian thug. Hart has to stab the mob boss in the neck and finds himself covered in blood as Berry steps into shot, looking picture perfect.
After Hart asks her where she’s been and why she looks perfect, the actress, who appeared as a Bond girl in 2002’s Die Another Day, explains, “I’m Halle Berry, I don’t get messed up!”
The trailer also features Don Cheadle, who has to be held back from attacking Hart after the comedian pokes fun at him as they prepare for a celebrity game of poker.
Kevin Hart: What Now? is the follow-up to Hart’s 2013 stand-up concert Let Me Explain, which became the third-highest live stand-up comedy movie of all time, and features the comic’s record-setting gig in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.
The show made history because it was the first time a comedian had ever performed in a sold-out, capacity football stadium.
Kevin Hart: What Now? will be released in U.S. theatres on 14 October (16).
