Best Drum Set I’ve Owned,
I have a Gretsch New Classic Bop in blue. This is the best drum set I’ve every played. It sounds fantastic–a warm resonant tone–and is very well made. The hardware is superb. It’s very solid and looks great. And this is a very musical drum set. I really can’t say enough good about it. In addition to the great sound, it looks fantastic, too. I also own a Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz, which I like a lot and a Sonor bop kit, which I also think is a good drum set. But this is by far the best (it’s quite a bit more expensive than the others, however). While it is pricey, it is well worth the cost for a serious drummer interested in jazz.
