Glenn Close and husband David Shaw have divorced after nine years, People confirms.
According to the magazine, the couple — who married in 2006 — have parted ways amicably. Close was previously married to Cabot Wade from 1969 to 1971 and James Marlas from 1984 to 1987.
The divorce comes on the heels of a summer chock-full of high-profile celebrity break-ups.
Deadline reported last week that Close was in final negotiations to star in upcoming film “Bastards” alongside J.K. Simmons, Owen Wilson, Ed Helms, Terry Bradshaw and Ving Rhames. The film tells the story of two brothers who discover their mother lied to them about their father dying when they were children.
