Ricky Gervais’ return to his role as bumbling The Office manager David Brent in David Brent: Life on the Road debuts in third with takings of $1.93 million (£1.46 million), while Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne and director Steven Spielberg’s The BFG round out the new top five.
