All hail the (totally reprehensible) President! House of Cards finally has a season three premiere date: Feb. 27, 2015.
Netflix just released what is perhaps the shortest mini-trailer in the history of television, and we’ve never been more exciting about 12 seconds of slow-motion nothingness.
Check it out…
Lest you had forgotten, when we last saw Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), he had pulled every Machiavellian trick in the book to weasel his way into the presidency.
Netflix’s date release teaser shows Frank and Claire (Robin Wright) climbing up the staircase to Air Force One, showing us that indeed, it was all not a dream and this season, we’ll see President Underwood as the leader of the free world.
This can’t end well.
House of Cards creator Beau Willimon started writing the third season in February, and the show has been shooting in Baltimore for a few months. Even though production was delayed due to Maryland tax credit bills, House of Cards‘ third season will premiere about the same time of year as it has the past two years.
The entire season will become available on Feb. 27.
