Eve was ”trashed” by activists who questioned her feedback about having ”tough conversations” together with her husband amidst the Black Lives Matter motion.
The 41-year-old rapper admitted she had robust chats together with her husband Maximillion Cooper as he tries to ”perceive” how she feels and asks questions to coach himself, following the homicide of an unarmed black man, George Floyd.
Speaking in a preview clip from The [email protected], she mentioned: ”I acquired some backlash only in the near past after I spoke out about myself. Me being in an interracial relationship and saying that ‘I’m having a few of the most tough conversations that we have ever had.’
”And some folks lit up the feedback and trashed me and had been questioning whether or not this was the primary time I had had these conversations. And I need to be very clear. We have had many conversations as a result of I’ve been on this relationship for a few years. When you enter an interracial relationship, there are conversations you should have – that is simply pure. So this isn’t the primary one. I’ve been having a few of the most tough conversations as a result of we’re in some of the tough locations in our nation, in our world, on this time, in order that’s why I mentioned that it was tough.”
Eve had beforehand admitted she was having ”probably the most tough and uncomfortable conversations” together with her husband.
